The papers of Tazewell L. McCorkle are composed entirely of copies of official Du Pont Company materials which he retained after his retirement. These files provide extensive documentation of departmental policies and procedures governing the storage and delivery of Du Pont explosives. They also contain product specifications, hazardous material regulations, a directory of Du Pont magazine sites, blasting handbooks, service bulletins, technical manuals, safety education materials, and procedures for the transportation of explosive materials. The files also contain a history of the Ensign-Bickford Company, advertising cards for Du Pont explosives, and a booklet outlining the Oregon Trail in Idaho.
